Day 6 without Sub, and feeling great

Well, my withdrawal symptoms have disappeared, and I think it's safe to say that the Suboxone is out of my system by now.  My last dose was 6 days ago, and it was only a tiny, miniscule sliver.  2 days before that, another tiny sliver.  All I can say is that it really is true that you need to taper down as low as you can possibly go before jumping.  .25 mgs just isn't low enough, it needs to be down to crumbs.  I don't know if being on it for 2 years also helped, but it seems to have really reset my brain back to the way it was.  I don't even feel the anxiety that I had before the drugs, which caused me to take pills in the first place!  Can't explain it, but I'm not going to make myself crazy.  I feel normal again, and that's all that matters.  Any questions, please PM me.

I would seriously suggest cutting right down to 2mgs a day.  When I did that, I literally felt NO difference.  It can't really hurt... take 2mgs tomorrow, and if you don't feel totally fine you can always take the other 2mgs.  Just try it!  And after I did that, I tried taking 1mg.  Still no difference.  I tapered so slowly that I never felt any of my drops, until the final one of course.

Yes good news. I myself am currently tapering. I've been on it for about 2 years at differnet doses. Normally its been about 12 to 16mg per day. Currently I am down to 4mg per day, which has been for about a week. I can definately tell a difference my mind is clearer, I've been having mild cravings. When you were in my position what did you do next. . Were you taking any other meds.
