Day 8 of Suboxone & Sleeping ProblemZ

Iam on day 8 of Suboxone about 8-12 mg a day which equals 1 pill and sometimes 1 and 1/2 pill a day....... The first 4 days were fine and i would say day 5 is when I woke up a few times during the nite... I'm not in pain I just wake up and wonder if suboxone is doing this to me... Anyone had similar effects? I feel better than ever and Am sooo Happy I am doing this treatment...

I took Ambian CR for sleep when I was on sub. - worked like a charm (at the beginning).

hey there ... congrats on getting on suboxone!!  day 8, thats great .. i've been on them for 8 months now.  i'm using them for both addiction and for pain managment ... but anyways, yes, i had the worst time sleeping in the beginning on these ... i would only be able to sleep for 2 hrs at a time and i wz miserable, have to get up and take care of a 3 & 4 yr old each day and i NEEDED to get SOME sleep ... ya know? ... the sub dr said try not taking it later in the evening, no later than 6ish ... well, that didn't work either! ... finally gave me seroquel to help sleep, which worked, but couldn't get up in the a.m. and felt like a zombie ... i had tried otc sleep aids first but they did absolutely nothing for me ..he gave me vistaril and it does helps me relax enough w/out kickin my butt and i can get up in the a.m. w/out feeling sluggish ..

call your sub dr and see if he has any suggestions....my dr. mentioned he has many patients w/the same prob when they first start out ... have you tried any otc meds yet?  welp, hope you can find something to help you sleep ... i went for 3 months like that before i gave in to getting medication to help ... hope you sleep well ... keep us posted and keep up the good work w/the suboxone!!!! peace! have an awesome day!  ;-)
