Day Six and feeling better!

Hello all,

Just to let the people going through this right now too, it really does get better. I quit oxycontin six days ago and joined this community on the first day of my withdrawals. There's been a lot of downs and very few ups, but I can say that I am starting to return to normal.

My energy is still down, my head still hurts a bit, but I'm starting to enjoy things again (in a way that I had forgotten on those damn pills.)

You can all do this, I had a few moments of doubt but I'm SO HAPPY I stayed with it.

Keep fighting everyone, it's worth it!

So proud of you!!
I am on day 3 and struggling a bit this am but still maintained my routine and working towards tomorrow! I slept only a few hours but that was enough to get me out of bed and to work without a pill.
Keep up the good work and keep us posted on your wonderful achievement.

That's great that you're doing so well after six days.  Exellent job!  It really is good to hear that one can feel so well in a relatively short period of time, especially after oxycontin.

You toughed it out, kept a great attitude, and that's alot to be proud of.

Wishing you continued success...

Sandy :)

Thank you! Everyone!

As corny as it may be, you and this community has been a TREMENDOUS help in staying true to get through this. Knowing many of us are going through this together, and winning, is empowering.

Thank you :)

Great post!  That is why I quit...I hated being foggy and not really caring about anything.  I love how my mind is now.  Clear and happy!  Keep it up!!!
