Was my previous post deleted because of my question? I really didn't think it was that big of a deal so I'll try and ask it once more.

"When a person over doses on Cocaine, what about the drug makes the body unable to use it like it could before."

Example: I know a few people who have overdosed, and now they can't do it because either A. It doesn't work, OR B. It makes them feel strange.

Thanks

We are trying to get clean here.  Maybe that was the problem with your question.

It probably fries the neurotransmitters in the brain.. which would cause permanent damage in that area of the brain..
However.. this site is for addicts trying to get OFF drugs.. not for tips of how to use cocaine after an overdose...  I would do somemore searching on line for these answers..

Cocaine has a reverse tolerance and no matter what your tolerance, you may take a small amount and it will kill you. It happened to a friend of mine that used for 2 yrs and then one day he just keeled over.

The reason your post was deleted was because....well, yes it was inappropriate. That's why I started my post called 'grrrrrrrr' below.
Tim....he called his recent overdose an 'inconvinience' and wanted us to give advice on how he can start using cocaine again. everyone that responded (including myself) told him(or her, sorry) that this is a forum where ppl are trying to get clean, not a forum for 'how can i get high'.
DL..again, I ask that you please think about what you are asking. Yes, its your life....but I have to say, your overdose is not an 'inconvienience' as you call it---but more like a wake up call. Cocaine is no joke, and it kills people. I knew a young mother of 3 small girls that didn't wake up one morning----her 3 year old found her like that. Cocaine was the cause of her death. Can you imagine that? HER BABY, HER 3 YEAR OLD FOUND HER MOMMA DEAD.

I did not see that post but I will tell DL something about incovenience. It is a "inconvience" to your family, hospital and tax payers. If you want to ruin your life, than be my guest. I just want to make sure that I am not "inconvienced" if someone in my family has a true medical emergency and they are busy trying to bring you back. Think about it my friend.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!! Exactly. When I read what DL said in that post, at first...it shocked me, then it just plain made me mad. As a mom, my first instinct was to just shake some sense into him! Then, my next instinct was to call his mom! lol.
DL is young, and admits to being young----but to call his overdose an 'inconvieniece' was the most ignorant thing I have ever read on this forum.
Not to mention-----one of the scariest things I have ever read.
DL....I have said it before, and I'll say it again to you: PLEASE get some help, before you end up dead. PLEASE.

Thank you. I feel the same about you. I loved the story you told about your daughter wanting to be the princess. Kids do make life seem so easy, don't they?

Ahhh, they are the beauty of life itself. I am doing this for them and will not get caught up in painkillers again, no matter what. Thanks for the kind words.
