does the diahrea ever end

Ive been taking oxycodene 15 mg for about 8 mths..   about 6 a day.......Im on day 27 and the only complaint i have is will the stomach pain and diahrea ever end.....i am close to the end of my rope and i am trying to battle thry this.

I hate to say it, but Im glad to hear you say you are still having GI problems!

Im 65 days off the sub, and am STILL having these issues! I even went to the doc thinking I picked up a parasite or something while travelling, everything came back normal.

I guess I have spent the last 12 years constipated during my opiate abuse, so I can only assume my digestive tract hasnt a clue as to what is going on.  

Im just relieve (No pun intended) that Im not alone in this, but I feel your pain.  Imagine having horrid bowel issues and spending most of your life on an airplane. :-P  Its not fun I tell ya! :-)

Immodium ad has worked wonders for me. I'm only on day 10 and I've drank 4 of the small bottles.

    I am not sure if this will help but, try eating no fresh food for a while. Lightly cook or blanch everything. Soups are good too, canned fruit, etc. The idea here is it is easier to digest these things. Do this for a week maybe and if you're better, slowly introduce back veges and then fresh fruit.

    An old remedy for diarrhea is boil 1 cup white rice with 4 cups water. Boil until a wallpaper paste. Tastes really bland, but it does slow things back down. Just remember, Diarrhea is the body's way of getting toxins out of you. Toxins are stored in our tissue and fat. They are release as the body can let them go through the lymph system, blood, liver etc..

The GI problems was one of the last to resolve (sleep took the longest). It was probably more than a month before my digestion seemed normal.  You had taken a pretty good dose of the drugs, so your system naturally will take a while to find its balance.  If you think there's something else at work, maybe check with a doc.

I am on day 19 now and my is off and on lol 1 day all be fine then the next I'll be in the bathroom iono. I'll take it as it comes, I guess at least I get 1 day to relax and have no ring sting lmao!! I never took immodium, I figured I'd let it just go naturally I was tired of taking a pill for everything. but to each his own ;) God bless

I'm on day 25!! I still am having problems with my stomach. I've gone thru a box of immodium but I don't want to take nemore. Congradulations on the clean time!!!
