Marty & jbr,
This post was started a year and a half ago. It would be a good idea for you to start your own personal post and get feedback that way.
If you need help let someone know.
That is something to be really proud of. I am down to 6 a day and am fighting the urge to throw them out and just quit and not do the taper like I was advised. You are inspiring to me, keep going! Marty
I'm at the same place you are, at 2 tabs a day (50mg each). From here, you may have to taper more slowly, say 1.5 tabs for a few days, then 1 tab for a few days, then 0.75 for a few more days, then 1/2 tab a day for a while. The main thing is--dont' go up on your dose--no matter how horrid you feel. Use advil, tylenol, hot baths for leg pain or restless legs, benadryl to help you sleep. Take plenty of vitamins, use caffeine for energy. I've found that a brisk walk helps my leg pain too. Most of what I've heard people say here is that the WORST is over in 7-10 days.
We can beat this---together!
Read Emily Post's Journal for more helpful advice and support. It's a real b***** getting off this stuff.
