I have been taking tussionex (hydrocodone polisterex with chlorpheniramine) Chlorpheniramine is the same antihistamine used in dimetapp. It's a liquid cough syrup i've been taking for a little over 8 yrs. now for chronic sinusites and respiratory infections. I also have horribble allergies which have never been kept under control until I was prescribed tussionex. It took over 7 years before I had any withdrawal symptoms. I have been on xanax for a little over 3 years and had withdrawal symptoms when I didn't take it after about 2 years(no this is not common) Tussionex is usually prescribed for 20 days or less and none of my pharmacists have ever seen refills on it until me. I tapered off of lorazepam (ativan) when I was 18 to start ambien. Insomnia and anxiety runs in the women on my mom's side of the family. It started when I was in high school. I also take vicoprofen usually during that time of the month since I can't take motrin 800mg's anymore.

Tink: Thank you for all of your kind words, it's always nice to hear that I can be helpful. Don't hesitate to ask personal questions of me or anyting you want to know about this post.

xoxo- D.
