Ecstasy/Anxiety

When I was younger i had some anxiety problems that went away.  This summer i started doing a lot of ecstasy and never had any problems with come downs but i was taking it about once a week sometimes twice a week.  About 2 months ago I rolled for the last time the last night before I was moving to celebrate with my friends.  We drank as well (three of us) and all had terrible comedowns with nausea and extreme anxiety and panic attacks.  Since then I have had a fear of throwing up and anxiety that I did not have before then.  Is it my anxiety coming back from before?  Is there any way to get rid of this anxiety without medication? I spend a lot of time in mind analyzing my thoughts and feelings trying to figure out what's wrong any ways to get out of my head a little?

There is something that is driving your drug use.  Have you given any thought to talking to someone about this?  X is a very dangerous drug so i hope you really take a look at this.  Many deaths have been attributed to this drug.  Dont throw your life away, its not worth it.      sara

Please note that we can not condone the use of any illegal substance, and it can be dangerous to use at any time, but when you aren't sure what is causing your symptoms, it would be best to avoid any drug use.

Im so sorry this happened. It sounds like to me maybe you guys got some bad X tabs? if you all got sick and had bad experiences. I used to get depression for a week after taking X. Well, ADDITIONAL depression. If you had anxiety as a kid, it could be a re manifestation of that. But most likely there has been a negative correlation made. I am the EXACT same way about thinking alot and spending time in my own head, and I tend to over analyze things. You could be causing the anxiety in your head without even knowing it. I am NOT trying to say "oh its all in your head" because thats not what i mean. but chances are the anxiety is stemming from your fear of having another bad trip and therefore the thought process is leading to the negative feelings. Im not sure im getting across what im trying to say here, im not the best writer and tend to ramble. Do you smoke Wee d? Im not advocating any illegal drug use ( :-) ) But marijuana can help clear the mind and allow the root of a problem to come to the surface and be resolved. If you do smoke, maybe give that a try and just keep reminding yourself that you are in a safe place. If you dont smoke, maybe try sitting quietly and try clearing your mind to allow the problem to surface. I hope things get better for you. Good luck!
