Well I'm on my way BACK to recovery.  I'm doing pretty good.  I don't know if everyone read before that my husband Victor was over it and very serious this time.  He even said that he would rather divorce me then sit back and watch me stay screwed up and possibly kill myself.  He scared me this time.  Most of the time he just brushes it off or even enables me.  But anyway I got home and found my favorite lilies on the table.  My heart melted but when I looked closer there were airline tickets to ITALY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I didn't have to jump up and down like I did!!!!!   I actually video recorded myself thanking him instead of calling him. He got a trip out of that but of course called in two seconds anyway.  My husband does spoil me but never to this extent.  I guess he see's something he saw two years ago when I got off the percocet.  I am so blessed to have a man that loves me the way he does.  Well I still have some ironing to do.  The ONLY down side to all of this is that we are leaving tomorrow night.  This is men for you.....he only gave me two days to get ready!. I'm taking my laptop so I'll keep in touch  Love you guys.

WOW a trip with no pills!! How awesome that is going to be!! You will be able to enjoy yourself without that monkey on your back!!! Have a wonderful time and your husband is the best!!

Color me green with envy here!  Just think how great it is not to have had to fly into pill seeking mode and panic at the site of those tickets. You instead got to rejoice in the cool act of your husbands treat and your upcoming adventure. Have a grand time. I'll be looking for some pic posting and live vicariously thru them. :))

hey Amber ... i kept looking at the title of this post and not clicking on it, but something drew me to it ... now that I've read it, i know why!  what a special story!  that is so great!  how your husband thinks the world of you, wants to hold you accountable, and he is willing to go the extra 'mile' to convince you!  yeah, i'm thinking i would let the two day notice thing go ... congrats!  have a great time and good luck!

Your hubby sounds like every woman's dream.....and you both have such imaginations....and spontaneity!  

Italy is delightful....I was there on 9/11....almost didn't get to fly back home to the beloved USA...but what an adventure!
