Feeling gritty and shaky.....

I am on day 4 and wondering if anyone else has had this experience. I am feeling really gritty and shaky. Cannot keep my hands still. Took a hot shower put that didn't help. I can feel all over me and I can taste it too. Last week I thought it was from my overdose and what the hospital had given me plus they gave me a patch so I wouldn't smoke. Now here I am on day 4 again and feeling the same way but with no patch?

Hey sweetie, This is VERY common. I felt this way for about 7 or 8 days. I am sorry but it will go away. Your whole body is now trying to handle this hard change. Your body is withdrawing. It doesn't know what is going on besides it needs and wants the drugs. Keep your mind focused. It will get better. Everyday is better, RIGHT? This to will fade. Good luck sweetie, Heather
p.s the drippy nose and sneezing will come soon too

Oddly enough, I never felt this during withdrawals. I did have some odd side effects on night where I felt I over-medicated. I would feel an electric jolt in my head as I was trying to sleep - heck, I even could have sworn it light up the whole inside of my head, if that makes sense.

Anyway, being day 4, when you wake up tomorrow, you should hopefully be getting better every day. Granted, I've had a couple WDs where I got worried, when day 5 seemed worse, but for me, day 4 usually marks the end of the worse, and begining of the healing process. I start day 4 tomorrow - wish me luch! :)
