It is slow right now but keep posting, tomorrow will be busier. Suboxone works best when you are in pretty full withdrawals. I am not sure how long it takes for full withdrawals on fentanyl. I do know that a prescribing Dr for sub would know and that is how you should be getting the sub.

Not sure about Fentanyl but the Oxy only took about a day and a half b4 they started the
Sub.  Like GTMI said, only get from a Dr. trained in Sub.  The Sub will bring you out fairly
quick.  Get your affairs in order b4 starting.  Pay bills, plan food, seek support system if not aready in place.  You will need support system.  I wish I had found this sight b4 instead of after, I think you will get lots of good advise.  Just Stay Clean.  You will get through if you have the mind set and want to get clean.  Pray and Pray often. Best of Luck.

Sorry but I really dont feel comfortable advising on dosing anything without dr. orders.
I'm sorry your feeling sick and hope you find the strength to fight through this another day.  Unfortunatly,  feeling sick has become a way of life for the last 2 months.  However,
believe it or not.  After the initial battle, things do start looking better on the other side.  You Must keep your Mind on the other side and take small steps to get there.  I found that in my darkest nights that God was the only one I could turn to for the strength to fight for a little longer.  I remember asking for the strength for another minute and another breath and each time he was there and gave me that strength.  I hope and Pray that you too will find the strenght that you need to fight this battle.  Best of Luck. guv

I know this may be too little too late but I've been doing alot of research on this out of curiosity. I'll PM you the most helpful websites if you like. This is what I've found - the fentanyl patch has an average of 17 hour half life AFTER removal. The actual range listed was 13-22 - so it could be somewhere in between depending on factors like body mass and absorption etc. Safer to assume more than less tho, so I'll say 22hours. So even tho you take the patch off, the drug continues to circulate and work for up to 22 hours later. At that 22hr mark, the fentanyl in your system has dropped down to 50% - so if you started with 1200mcg, you would be at 600mcg 22 hrs after removal. So technically, the amount of time it takes for the fentanyl to circulate fully out of your system is closer to 48 hours, possibly more cuz drug half lives are crazy. You can't take sub until the fentanyl is out of your system or else it will throw you into precipitated wds - which are horrible, I went thru them once. I don't know much about Fentanyl other than what I've read today and heard in the forum but I would really recommend you get some kind of doctor supervision at least to start the sub. If you really can't, just wait as long as possible before taking a sub... then take 2mg at a time to see if you're ready. The sub effects will start to kick in after 20-30 mins, full effect can take up to 2 hours in the beginning. If it's gonna make you sick you'll know within 20 mins... Keep in mind that sub is it's own monster as well, and equally difficult to battle with - it also has a crazy long half life. Hope to see you post again with your experience.

what is precipated withdrawl?  I took a sub once because I did not have any meds.
I took it about 12 hrs after my last pills.
I remember feeling great, like I had my life back.  It took me 6 days to use the whole sub.
I never felt better than I can remember feeling for years.
