First day not using fentanyl, can i get through this?

St. Vincent Stress Center told me that i can get through withdrawals with flu symptom and be fine.  I thought I could die without help.  They disagree.  Can I do this on my own?  I use Fentanyl, Lorazepam, Oxycodone, Neurontin, and others every day.  Can anyone give advice on if I can do this.  I want this!

Are you just planning to stop the Fentanyl? Or all the meds? It makes a difference.

Lorazepam and Neurontin should be tapered over time. The opiates can be stopped CT.

That is a lot of drugs to come off of. How long have you been using? Did you do any type of tapering down? I would also suggest talking to your dr. Stick around, this is a great support group. If you have any more info about your usage, it would would help us help you better. Good luck.

We have others who have come off fentanyl.   You will feel flu like symptoms for awhile.  Does your doctor know what you are doing?
