I've been told that there is a way to get FREE suboxone. Does anyone know the phone # of website for this service. My son is 20 yrs old and makes well under 20K a year

hi and welcome to the forum.....well the best way to look into free sub is from your state run mental health care program.....here in Arizona you can get a free doctor to evaluate your mental status ...many addicts have issues that have caused them to self medicate....I have a few questions that will help us see if he really needs to go on sub....how long has he been using???? what is he using ??? and how much???? both sub and methadone are over prescribed these days ....if your jamming a needle in your arm it can save your life.....now if it is a pill habit that is out of control again it can save your life.....but far to many only have a minor habit and turn to sub because there afraid of the withdrawal....it is much ezer to get off the pills and recovery is a lot faster...sub can be very difficult to get off of it is kinda like going from the frying pan into the fire....we do home detoxes here on the forum daily...we can walk you threw the whole process....it only takes about 4 days too get over the physical withdrawal  with sub it can last weeks...please fill us in so we can better help you >>>>>>>>>>>>>GNARLY<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Contact reckitt benckiser who manufactures suboxone/subutex. Ask about the suboxone assistance program. They'll tell you if your son is eligible for it (he should be) but like flmagi said - there is a 2 patient limit for sub docs so make sure you look around.

Each Sub Doctor can have 2  Suboxone discount patients. The Sub doctor needs to fill out some forms and apply for it. Like eagle said, call around and find a doctor that has an opening on the discount program.

Each certified sub doc may have a small number of supported patients. Dont remember the number of patients........call them ....... you may have to look around some to find a doc that has an opening.............

I dont think youlle be able to get sub for 100% free, legally atleast. Subs are fairly expensive to buy at the pharmacy from what ive heard too. And you will have to pay for the doc appointment. Of course health insurance would help with this, but your still going to have to pay something I would think.
