THE BEST plase for free help is your state rune mental health care facility once your clean the salvation army runs a 6mo rehab also but you have to be ans stay clean to get in it strat with the state run facility ......theres a lot of red tape but onece in the system you can get the help you need to get off from a detox center to long term aftercare I have been going to aftercare for about 3 yr and Paul is top notch your unemployed it should be no problem for you to get in I was working when I first went due to a lack of ins coverage be ready to spend some time on the phone you should be able to gooogle it for a ph# good luck and God bless......Gnarly
Hi jdk, I just noticed that you posted two threads at the same time - and the other thread already has several responses, soooo, I'm not sure if you were still asking about help outside of MH, like free clinic info or not. Anyway, Good luck to you!
Hello! Sorry to hear that you lost your jobs. And both of them! :(...It depends on what kind of help you're looking for. If you want to detox on your own, then you can get alot of help right here - just post and give the details of your use and alot of people here who have been in your shoes can give you direction and support while you go through withdrawals. If you're looking for medical help or feel you need to a detox clinic, I would google something like "free help for addiction" and include where you live; you should get results. Good luck and keep posting!
