Yes I agree, there are some nasty bugs spreading around this time of year. I think water is much better than Gatorade because it has so much sugar. Bacteria and virus thrive on the sugar. Perhaps try water and drink OJ instead. You can fizz up the OJ with club soda. Good protein and vit C will help you feel better. Take motrin or aspirin for the aches and see a doctor if you develop a fever. Feel better and keep moving forward.

When going through detox, your body's immune system is going to be weak, because your body is busy trying to reset itself and recover from the pills, so it's not uncommon to catch a bug during detox. I've had the worst cold I've ever had for almost 3 weeks now, and it has sucked! But once you start feeling better, it will be that much better!

Thank you all. Spider you made me laugh. I still can barely eat. I drink a ton of Gatorade a day. But don't feel well. I would think I'm over the hump but I'll tell you this. It's still ROUGH. This tramadol beast is no joke. Now I feel worse.

If you start running a fever higher than 100 call primary. Your immune system is week and if you came in contact withy anything, better to be safe than sorry! Take spiders and krissys advice on how to treat your symptoms now though. Give it a few days but watch the fever. That always concerns me cuz you could have infection. Just my thoughts!  Xx

Hi there.....ya know, I think it is kinda normal for some of us.  I got sick about 4 times within the 1 1/2 year period after quitting..........I rarely got sick taking pills before that.  IMO I think your "system" is taxed while detoxing and getting your shite back together....and therefore a weakened immunity.....bla bka right,....you don't care ....you just want to feel better.  Drink lots of water....keep taking the baths if you can. ......soups......crackers......juices......music......heating pad .......

This too shall pass. Hang in there.
