2 weeks. WOW!

Two weeks today! Yay me! Still having some detox symptoms but many years of norco use I think it may take more than 2 weeks to clear out. I quit the wellbutrin 150xr that was prescribed to me for the depression that I believe was brought on by long term norco use. Since I have come off the norco the depression has been clearing out. Anyone know about wellbutrin detox? Does it exist?  What I have read was to taper down but I am on the lowest dosage and these can't be split. Any input is appreciated. And for anyone just starting- IT GETS MUCH BETTER!!!!!!!

Congrats!! That is awesome, I still remember your first few posts, you've done an amazing job! As for the AD gets your doctors input as he/she may have you start skipping days on the low dose so your body adjusts to being off the meds. Years ago thats what they told me to do, but I was on Lexapro also on the lowest dose but you're taking something different.  Good luck and keep going!! Hugs

I'm doing a happy dance here.  Patience is key.  Each day will bring you new light and experiences but your body is still healing.  Embrace the good moments and allow your body to deal with the rest.  If it needs you to slow down for a bit, hear that.

I'm not on Wellbutrin but am on another anti-depressant.   And I'm certainly no medical expert.  But what I do know is when they put me on Celexa moving me from Prozac there had to be a slow weaning off of one and on to the other over a couple of weeks.  My very limited knowledge is no one should just stop taking an anti-depressant.  Is it possible to ask your doc the best way to handle this?

Congratulations on a job well done!
