This will sound nuts, but it works. In the AM when you wake up. Put a bright light behind your knees for 5-10 minutes. I have use a 6" fluorescent. Do this one or two days. I don't know how it works for w/ds, but it works great for changes in time or travel.

A friend of mine just quit ambien cold turkey...she was only taking 10 mg a day tho...a couple of days she was ok....everyone is different tho

I would check with a pharmacist or your Dr.  However I have herd that coming off Ambien is not that hard. You will miss some nights sleep until your body resets. But make sure you check first.

hhmmm...that is really a lot hun. And if you are taking it in the afternoon, well, that sounds like a problem. How long have you been on it?

20mg two 10mg. one n the afternoon and 1 at night... it doesnt make me sleep anymore so there's no use.

I am guessing you mean wean off of it? How much are you taking?
