I'd also like to mention, letting your loved ones KNOW what your doing and how your trying to get better. I keep my family up to date as to how I'm doing, what I'm doing to make things better. I feel that actions speak louder than words so your loved ones will see the change in your actions....just take a little time.
Amen IBK.
I found that the Magnesium and Amino-Acids help the brain.
Look up what helps heal the brain.
Also the BIGGEST thing is to eat healthy. Try to stay away from to much processed sugar and simple carbs. Walnuts look like a brain, so they too are brain builders. I seen a program about all of this and the diet made a BIG difference in how the children where acting at school. The teacher though one kid got a new med.No way it was the diet change.
Other wise, time is the greatest healer of it all.
Good Luck!
Bless
The first step is to stop using drugs. Second is not to dwell on the past. You can't change it. All you can do is learn from it and make the effort not to do those things again. For me I did 3 years of counseling and I work a 12 step program to the best of my ability. With those 3 things the changes came naturally. It takes time hun. We didn't get sick overnight and we won't get well overnight. Everyday you don't use is a good day.
Are you talking physical or mental ?
