Day 32 clean from 75mg methadone . I tried everything for the pain in my legs, two things that helped me was one; get out of bed , couch or whatever your veging on as soon as possible . 10-15 mins of light walking can give you 4-6 hours of releif . I would force myself too walk around my house an hour or so before bed . Two ; on the days you cant will yourself out of bed slather a thick layer of Bengay or equivelent on your sore spots . Make sure it has menthol , and cappsaicin . probally not spelled right . Maybe the bengay illicits a pain response in your body stimulating natural opiate production I have no Idea. I am not a doctor . But it worked better for me than any over the counter pain med. Good luck listen to music cry yell scream whatever it takes...
hang in there im on day 9 from 500 to 800mg daily of oxycontin......i loved them so much........try to go to a clincin and get clonidine for the w/d it will help ....also something to sleep go to a pharmacy ask them oe go to ao doctor...god bless...you ....its up to your will and determintion.......
Thanks for your reply,I am on day 3 and don't think my heating pad has been turned off yet! I've taken off work through monday so thats some relief.I cannot get over how emo I have been.It seems as if my brain is fried right now but at the same time I may be thinking clearly for the first time in 10 years. I've have severe shakes chest pain off and on and vomiting as well as insomnia no appetite diahrrea etc. I considered making that drive to get something but I felt too bad (thank the gods).I'm close to cracking so I need some form of assistance obviously.I did email a doctor this morning about outpatient suboxone treatment that everyone is talking about,are either of you farmiliar with it? would like to hear about your addictions as well if you don't mind?

HI! You can do this!!! The symptoms are bad, but I can tell you some things to get to help. Obviously immodium. Advil, tylenol, Mag/Cal supplement, Hylands Leg Cramps or Restful Legs, epsom salt for baths, gatorade and a heating pad. Read the thomas recipe on the health pages. It has helpful advice, but the list I told you is what I used at home 3 months ago, and it helped some. Oh, nyquil at night. NO TYLENOL PM! It will give you RLS from HE!!. It actually kept me awake! I hated that stuff! Get the Nyquil without a decongestant in it at Wal Mart or any drug store.
Check out some kind of aftercare when you feel better. It makes a world of difference in staying clean. Why go thru the WDs just to turn around and do it again?!!!
