Help with nausea from Vicodin withdrawal

I was on vicodin for 6 weeks for a ruptured disc in my neck, first with 5/500 and was up to about 8 of those a day and then switched to Norco because I was scared of wrecking my liver with the tylenol.  I was taking about 4 norcos a day and then my pain went away so I decided to stop with the vicodin.  But then withdrawls set in like lack of sleep, yawning, nausea, chills, overall just feeling like crap.  I have been off the vicodin for 3 days now and it seems the main symptom I continue to have is nausea so what can I take/do to help with that ?  I am not sure if I was addicted or not, I don't have any cravings to take the drug and never did but I feel like crap after stopping.

John - yes Day 2/3 were the worst for me just try and push through and get through a minute at a time if you  have to.  I used immodium as that was my issue but I couldn't even water down so I would like to suggest some chammomile tea or something like that but on Day 2/3 I just had to survive it.  by the end of Day 3 I think I was eating food again, yesterday Day 4 was my first Real food and today is even better.  Just know you are probably in the worst part right now and each day will get a little better.  Hang in there!

John:
For most, day 3 can be very difficult when detoxing cold turkey from meds. There are over the counter solutions for nausea, but be careful and read the directions - look for the side affects. Tomorrow should be better; day 4 is when I got my appetite back. When that happens, start slow, but try to eat as much as you can. When you're able to eat, take vitamins, drink lots of fluids, and take a short walk.
It will get better; that's a promise.
