HELP!! I'm a 39year old Woman That has lost everything and Is Addicted to Lortabs.. I have been doing those for about 4yrs

Be SO careful with the benzos. I'm living proof that they make you literally psychotic if you're not careful. Besides, they are highly addictive as well, very dangerous to w/d from. Please use a doc when coming off them. The w/d from Lortab is a drag, but w/d from benzos is like getting your insides ripped out. There's a lot of support here. I've also been to a few na meetings. I felt so proud getting my keychain. Plus, you will see that there are people just like you and recovering addicts seem to really care about your sobriety. Imodium is great and essential (in my experience).

Frogger, that's just my recipe for getting through WD without having to check out of life for 3-5 days. I had to go to work while wding. I discontinue the benzos and weed as soon as I'm back on two feet. God bless.

Brandi- Do not go get benzos and weed. Really?? Do get some Imodium. The worst of the withdrawals will probably be over in a week or so. You'll experience flu-like symptoms, yet it feels nothing like the flu, muscle aches, nausea, hot/cold sweats, diarrhea. Keep hydrated. Just remember, it will pass. Good luck!!
