How can I wein myself off of loritabs?

I have been taking loriab 10s for about four years now, I have been taking them for a back injury that I got at work. I really want to wein myself off of them, I am very dependant on them and have notice that I have changed since I have been on them. I stared out taking 2 aday and now I am up to about 5 aday. I have 2 boys who need me. Does anyone have any tips to help me stop taking them without having such bad withdraws? I have tried in the past but the withdraws are so bad I start taking them again. HELP?

I know how u feel we all do in my case I started I tried doing it with trying to ween my self off but I always had an excuse why I need to take an extra one than there I go again but I had to just say enough I went and got the stuff from the Thomas recipe and started as soon as possible the potassium pills are very important so u don't have leg cramps and I will see the only thing I experienced was the sweats and chills hell I'd rather deal with that than all the other stuff try it good luck u can do it

You have to lower the mg. instead of a stronger mg you should take a lower mg. you need to tell your Doc. what you want to do so he or she can monitor your progress and look out for you. You can do it if you want to bad enough.      hang in there.
