How do I titrate down from Oxycodone IR

I take 10-15 mg 3 times a day. All I want to know is how to avoid withdrawals when I get close to refill time. It's happened a few times and it feels like DEATH. I've been really diligent in not taking then when the mood strikes. Only when I'm in a lot of pain. I have Ativan for anxiety which never helped at all the last time I ran low.. I took up to 2mg with little results. I just want to know if I cut the dose by 5mg, will I regret it. I DON'T want to have to come off completely. I really hate it when withdrawal happens and really want to avoid it. Help please.

I also know how addictive it is or I wouldnt be writing here. I have been taking it for 2 years for lumbar/thoracic spinal stenosis. I also have 7 disk protrusions from severe to moderate, a thoracic bleed on my spinal cord, arthritis in my hands, knees, toes, lumbar spine, sacrum and the joint between my hip and pelvis. So I need this to function from day to day. Not just because I'm hooked.

How can I make them last when I only get 90? To take 15mg when I need to, it shorts me. That is how it is written. They wont increase the quantity.

Dr.s prescribe this drug to too many people!!  I don't know your condition or why you are prescribed this medication. But there are a few drugs on the market to get you off this drug entirely.  This drug is a legal form of heroin!! The reason you have withdrawls is because you are addicted and if you are taking more than your recommended dose then you will run short... This drug is highly addictive.. I see this issue on a daily basis where I work and is the one of the worst drugs to wean off of or run short on...  These two options I mentioned above might be something that you should speak to your doctor about.
