How long? Day 2 No Norco

Hi everyone, day 2 of no Norco. Cold turkey after a couple of years of taking 18 5/325 a day weaned down to 9 a day and now nothing. I am just tired. Someone please help with any ideas for getting through this. I am taking vitamin c and other minerals and vitamins. My stomach aches are the worst. Depression is bad too. I take care of my mom who knows and is supportive but can’t physically care for me. My son is here too and is supportive. Husband is on the road but supportive too. My friends are praying for me. Just want to do this without medical intervention unless I have to. Thank you all

I want to say CONGRATULATIONS for taking this step and doing this!!  You are going to get your life back!  How long it takes is different for every person.  Do you have any vomiting or diarrhea?  It's find to take otc products to help with both of those.
Also, give yourself some self care like getting extra sleep, lightening your expectation of work load, etc. Drink lots of water.

And reach out just like you are here.  It's been a couple days since you posted this (sorry about no response!!!)---  how are you doing now?

I mean it is FINE to take otc products to combat some of the symptoms of withdrawal.

Congrats on coming off the pills!!  I am glad to hear you have lots of support.  What you are feeling is very normal and will pass.  I know it is rough, just remember this part is only temporary.  Try and get up and move around as much as you can.  Eat bland foods and make sure to drink lots of liquids.  Try to limit your caffeine also.  You are doing great so keep it going~
