I suffered really bad from this also For me it seemed to ease up when I exercised early evening long walk and then hot hot bath with epson salt .
No caffeine past 3 pm also .
I think this was the worst WD symptom most lingering for me also
good point cleanguy - staying hydrated is HUGE in helping with leg cramps.
It will get better... just want to echo imdonenomore... all of those suggestions are great. Particularly the bananas. Keep hydrated with water, Gatorade, and ensure. My legs sometimes still feel heavy, but pain goes away!
Those meds could be aggravating the RLS. Have you tried other treatments? There is an OTC supplement you can buy - Hylands Restful Legs with Quinine - that helps a lot of the members here. Bananas worked best for me - something to do with their potassium content. Or even tonic water (again the kind with quinine) can also help.
