How long for Suboxone Withdraw?

My husband has been an addict to pills for over 10 years ago. It started with Vicodin and he has been addicted to various pills for years many of them prescribed due to a back injury that started this whole mess over 10 years ago. About 2 years ago he got on Suboxone and within the past 6 months has begun to taper. He recently started taking Adderol and the only reason I found out was due to him starting to experience psychotic breaks. What ensued was him wanting to get clean and start rehab. We were advised by our insurance that he would need detox first however we lived in an area that doesn't have any detox centers so were advised to go to the hospital. He ended up being put in the psychiatric ward as they didn't have a detox area for three days. He stated that he didn't have much detox symptoms but that thre was one night where he was restless and had the chills etc. he was discharged with the advice for heavy counseling rather than rehab. Flash forward to tonight. He has been off Sub for a week and a half now and seems to now be experiencing extreme withdrawal. I woke up to him tossing and turning in our bed to hitting the wall and almost screaming out in pain. I'm not sure what to do and if nothing how long will this last? I was under the impression that he worst withdrawal symptoms were within the first few days for sub. Anyone with any experience in this I would greatly appreciate it if you would leave a reply. Unfortunately Suboxne withdrawal is to be heard of the worst withdrawal to go through.. sorry to say. I've been addicted and so has my boyfriend and his sister for years.

He is supposed to start a new job at the very end of next week! Ugh I'm hoping the withdrawal symptoms he is having now don't last that long. I mean I have heard they can last a few weeks but the symptoms become less severe right? I will bring up the soak recipe to him and see if he would like to do that. Thank you for the advice and I'm going to double check on what his mg's were.

Not sure how many mg but I will check and yes he was abusing the Adderol which I found strange because that's not his usual ammo as he was never one for "uppers".

with sub a lot depends on what dose you jumped from ther is always a 4 or 5 day lag tillb the withdrawals hit if its above 2mg he is in for a fire storm for 2 weeks a hot soak will help out a lot look to thre lower right of thisd page for the Thomas recipe that will soften the blow good luck and God bless........Gnarly
