kicking the habit

I've been on 90mg of methadone for 2 years .. Im on my 5th day with out any thing and so far no pain. Actually I feel better.  I believe. That everyones body reacts in different was and a lot of it is all in the mind of the beholder.  If you read and believe that its gonna be bad than it will be bad, but if you give it to God and ask him to help you through each day then he will.. im going on day 6th and from what I've read this day is supposed to be the worst .. I haven't felt not one. Pain and I sleep like a baby!  I just keep my mind and my body active.  DONT believe all the hype keep your body healthy by eating. Fruits, vegetables and drink plenty of water keep active keep your mind off the fact that you may or may not be sick.  No one can tell you how your body will react.  And if you feel sick like throwing up then you might just be sick not from detox but from a virus.  Good luck and God bless you all.

Hi there, and welcome to the forum. It's amazing that you went cold turkey off of 90mg Methadone!  That's great! I've never heard of this before. You are definitely the exception to the rule!
