Hycodan

I have been on Hycodan for 4 months.  Today is my first day that I havent taken it.  I feel a bit jittery.  is this withdrawal?

Okay. I just wondered if it had been ordered around the clock every six hours (no matter what) OR PRN...(only when needed)

It works very well with cough syrup. I took it myself many years ago for the same reason. Four months is kind of a long time so I'm glad you're better now!

Definitely eat something and keep up with your fluid intake. Very important.

I ahve had bronchitis  that is why I have been taking it.  but the ccough ismuch better.  so I dont want to take it any more.  Plus I havent hardly ate today so that could be a factor too
yes...the dosage as prescribed.  have never abused it

It's very likely it's withdrawal. Just push extra fluids and be sure to eat. Are you not going to be taking it any longer?

I'm assuming it was prescribed as 5mg every 6 hours PRN. Is that correct?

5 mgs every 6 hours..just as prescribed
