I have finally come to the realization I have to get off this **** I have been on hydro for over 3 years for cronic back pain, but like most got hooked on the funny feeling and it made my day go so much better. You would think I was smart enough to know what could and does happen. I am a head coach for a local football team and work for law-in-forcement. My consience eats me so bad sometime I can't stand it. I have hid the real problem from my wife for years. She now is my main support and I pray I will get a hold of it this time. I have tried a couple times before but always go back.I am on day 1 from c/t and feel like death warmed over. I am on clonidine, vitamins,lots of liquids. I also am going to tell my doc (I have a script of 180 7.5/500in wait) to stop. Is there anything else I can do???? Thanks

i understand , i sucked at tapering myself...i dropped to fast and had a miserable few days...
Stay with us you can do this.
are you going to pick up your script?
tommorrow will be day 2 right??? why not try now...Can you take some time off?? well being a football coach probably not...

I used all I had so I'am c/t. I was taking 10-12 7.5 a day. I am so additicted I would never be able to taper, thanks for the help and comments.

Congrats on taking the first step...how much were you taking a day?? Do you feel that you need to taper??  or bite the bullet and since you are on day 1, maybe just keep going...
it does get better...i am over 30 days and feeling so much better..
I took clonodine, and adivan...and lexapro...

Sounds like you are on right track. The Clonindine will help alot. Also some sort of sleep aid will be necessary, either a natural supplement or a benzo....

There is someone on here that can help you with a tapper plan her names fladdict, but thats if you can trust yourself or can give someone the pills to hang on to..
