Hydrocodone and methylphenidate

I just found out I was pregnant. I have been on 2 10/325 3 times a day since December since I broke my kneecap and found out I have a very rare wrist condition I was supposed to have surgery on on the 22 nd. I also have ADHD and been on Ritalin. I have weened myself down by a half a pill a day. Yesterday was the last one and I feel terrible. My back hurts I have no energy and I can't think straight. How long will this last and how bad will it be to come off the Ritalin?

If you're tapering the Ritalin, it should be a very slow taper under the guidance of your OB.  The same goes for Hydrocodone.

We don't advocate cold turkey detox on this forum ( or even tapering in pregnancy ). It's too dangerous to the unborn child. We always suggest managing symptoms with your doctor.

Definitely do not take Imodium ( loperamide ).

See your doctor about this and let us know how you're doing-

Hi Preggers - I'm only on day 5 and the physical wd's are easing up. I'm battling the mental aspects now...everybody is different but from what i've read the 1st 3 days are the worst & they start easing from there.

It should be noted i was using hydro (10/325) 4-6 a day, like you but for 4 years.

Congrats on the little one & please be done with the hydro.  You dont want to be on it for years like many of have been.

You should be safe to do the lopermide thing. It helped me a thousand percent. Message me if you want, and I will let you know. I know the internet is filled with wierdos, so just so you know I am a married man with 2 kids, and all I want to do is help. I hate withdrawals, especially the anxiety.
