Hydrocodone/oxycodone and your liver

If any of you have suffered addiction opiates containing Tylenol I am sure you have been concerned about your liver. Did anyone have liver function test while on the meds. Or after the meds? Did they go back to normal when you cleaned up?

I took MASSIVE amounts of Tylenol for many years. I have been clean for 9 months and have had 2 liver function panels done recently. Both came back totally normal...I am incredibly lucky.

That makes me feel better. I just want to be done with the pills and I would hate to know I had done irreversible damage. I took 4-5 grams tylenol daily for a year

When I was using just Vicodin... With 500 mg of Tylenol, I would take an average of 20 to 30 a day for about 5 years until I was switched to norco 10 with half the Tylenol and vicioprofen with no Tylenol. I would wake up with terrible pain by my liver. I was scared to get the test done but it turned out ok. Stop ASAP so you don't put yourself at a higher risk for liver damage.
