I feel like such a loser, why can't I do this. I want to feel better and it is day 4 of being off hydros and percs. I wanted to taper but was too hard. I just feel so helpless and I want to be there for my family and my job. I am nauseous all day long and cant sleep to well since I am restless at night which I expected since I have been through this before. I am on them because of my arthritis and I feel better being on them but always manage to take a little more than prescribed and manage to run short every month but I am not increasing all the time. Its a vicious cycle. What to do? Right now I am just wishing this nausea would stop. Any ideas? Thanks for listening.

What if I took a hydro, will these symptoms start all over from the start? Is that how it works? This is sooooo hard, the RLS is bad. I don't want to start all over again. I had one left and I took it. WHat is wrong with me. (Dont answer that, I know whats wrong with me) but what the hell? Withdrawels are scary!!!!

Hey, and congrats on 4 days!!!
4 was the hardest for me, and I can tell you that you will start to feel better and better as the days go on. you are almost at the turning point....

I am at day 21, and I feel HUMAN. I FEEL. (a lot)

It's tough to detox- your body is damaged right now. You can and will get back on track if you just push thru the pain, i promise.

Keep busy. Take the dramamine, exercise as soon as you can, drink A LOT of water, post on here, and if you can, get to a meeting!!!!

PLEASE go get the dramamine I promise!!!!! It will stop the nausea. Trust me I felt the same way, till I took it.. Don't take anymore pills you will only start this hell over!

It certainly is...but trust me...nausea is one of the better symptoms of w/d.  Try going to work with severe RLS...when it feels like electricity is running through you.  

Just push through this...get some maalox, pepto...or whatever you need to.  You really don't want to experience full blown w/d by taking more of those devils.  My habit was 4-6 per week...and just got off 20 per day...not fun.

It will get worse...almost guaranteed...if you continue to use.

Thanks for the support. I honestly can't take the nausea anymore, it's worse in the morning and it makes me dry-heave to the point I want to scream. I don't get it? I was not on a high dose 4-6 hydros a day for a few months. I had went c/t before and was off it for a month. I can't keep telling everyone that it is the flu because it's been like 5 days of being with nausea. I want to take one because I know that will stop all of this sickness but I know I will end up back here again lateron. It's a vicious circle.

You can do this look at you you have already made it 4 days, that is great!!! My first 4 days I vomitted to the point of dehydration. One word otc dramamine, stopped the nausea instantly, wow it worked wonders, get to the pharmacy and pick some up! You are almost through the worst of it!! You can do this!!!!!! I believe in you and remember everyday is a new day! Keep posting the wonderful people here will get you through this

I am 8 days clean and the first 5 days were hell. I have regaind my energy and the wd will pass I promise. You cn do this.Nausea was a big wd for me cn ur doc gve u sme phenagren that helps so much

I know the 4th day was always the worst day for wds for me. I really think if you make it through tonight without using you will be over the hump.  Honest.  I know what you mean about feeling like such a loser. The pharm, Dr. sec, nurses they all knew and would give me "the look".  junkie look  i guess.  I felt so desperate. so often.  Thank God I choose not to do the 4th day again today.  Are you taking pepto for nausea?  I'm one of those people that can eat no matter what I'm going through.
