I NEED UR OPINION/INPUT

hi everyone,
been to my clinic today and continued my 2mg/methadone taper, im down to 14mg/day now and feeling pretty good about myself. On the other hand im also having relapse prevention classes, counselling, attending NA meetings weekly (sometimes more) and am really motivated to finally getting clean but does anyone else ever get sick and tired of all these people trying to fix them and all the ******* analysing bollocks??? If anyone reads this pls comment or send me a message as id really like someones opinion/input, I know theyre only trying to learn and to help me help myself but did/does anyone else use/still use because it felt good and they enjoyed it (fun even)???
When i finished todays sessions i came home and stopped off at my pharmacy for my daily dose and while in there i was telling an associate (fellow addict) about my day and the last thing i said to him, jokingly was:-

                 "its enough to turn you drugs"

they would also be still giving me a script for 4 weeks too so i hardly ever got any real treatment as i would be at my clinic for 20 mins once a month.

ive decided the amount im tapering, was doing 5mg every 4 weeks then when i got to 30 i changed this to 2mg/week as the initial drop of 5mg was begining to be quite noticeable, since i changed it to 2mg/week i havnt noticed no negatives at all n im doing 8mg drop over the 4 weeks now. all this has come from me seeking advice from other addicts at NA meetings and ive also complained at my clinic n now got a new keyworker too, if i hadnt of done any of this they would of been quite happy to leave me on 55mg still.

My input for whatever it's worth.  I had a dual habit, Methadone/Heroin and kicked it CT after a Methadone rampdown of 5mg. daily form 80 mg. (120?).  It was not a happy experience....  I did not use for 30 years and then began recreational Opioid & Done use.  Ended up getting strung out again.  It's what addicts do.  Don't fool yourself.  I got on Subutex to quit for 1.5 years.  After 25 days of HELL I am now 40 days with no Sub and no narcotics.

When I was taking Metahdone legally, yeah the meetings, analysation and Bollocks drove me nuts, but it is a necessary part of your quitting if you want to.

How often do they take you down 2mg?
