I haven't taken my suboxone in a week, I should have had withdrawl already, right??

So, long story short I was addicted to any and every opiate under the sun for a little over two years. One month ago exactly, I started taking 24mgs of suboxone...I tapered down to about 8mgs a day, and took my last one one week ago today...if I was going to withdrawl off of these shouldn't I have already experienced withdrawl by this time, or am I in for a rude awakening??  I know suboxone has a long half life, but I didn't think it was this long....I'm thinking I'm in the clear and finally doing well...let me know if you think I'm going to start withdrawling or not....please and thank you for any and all of your advice....~B

Thanks to all who chimed in...It was in my thinking also that if I was going to kick into withdrawl, it would have happened by now...props to the one above, this wasn't my timing, it was his...God is great....!!! It's so nice to finally have a clear head again...I'm finally getting back to the person I used to be:)  We can all do this..keep up the faith...it will happen....everyone of us can take our lives back and be the Mother, brother, sister, father, son, daughter, and friend that we once were....To any who read this...just believe it will happen...there is a plan and each one of you is a part of it:) God Bless you All!!

Sub is so mental. It sounds like you dodged a bullet. My sub w/d kicks in after only 24 hours becuase I have such a strong mental fixiation with it.

You may have gotten very lucky and quit the Sub at just the right point for you. You may not have gotten to the point of addiction to the Sub and also took it long enough to pass the point of left over withdrawals from your doc. Eat healthy and get some exercise to ward off any possible withdrawals that could show up. Hope I'm not wrong, but sounds like your timing was impeccable! Good luck.

hmmmm, that is odd, ive not taken suboxone, but i have read all about it. It has a pretty long 1/2 life, as you know, I would guess that the w/ds would be coming around the corner pretty quick. Other sub users will respond soon.
keep us posted and good luck.
