I made it thru the hardest part!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So i've made it thru the hardest part of coming of lortabs. but the good part is that i did it cold turkey. i know its not easy for everyone but i managed. today is day 4 and i feel alot better than i thought i would. i think i can do this now that i've made it thru the hardest part. good luck to all of you who are trying to quit something, and all i can say is that you have to WANT to quit, and you have to make it a choice, every hour of every day, and stick with it and you can do it!

Good for you!!  I'm on day 5 and today is the first day I've felt alive.  I know what you're feeling and it is GREAT!  I milked it for all its worth today.  I did more today than I've done in months and I feel satisfied at the end of the day (it's nearly bedtime here in Italy) which, again, is something that I've not felt in a LOOOOOOONG time!!!

Best of luck to you - it'll only get better for both of us, I'm sure!

I'm so happy for you!  Again stressing that exercise is great for post acute w/d.  That goes for mental and physical well being.  The mental stuff is harder than I expected, but it is totally do-able.  Like Rick said, I use to feel the same way about supplements, but I load up now, and I feel better than I remember feeling before my addiction!  Good luck, and congrats:)

Way to go. Just like r2r stated above the excercise really helps, and so do the vitamins/supplements. I used to think that the vitamins/supplements was kind of a joke (why i don't know?), but man i feel better now than when i was on the pills (day 10).

I'm on day 3 of coming off Lortab 10 and I'm so glad your detox has been easier than mine has! Thankfully for you!! Mine has been terrible...horrible anxiety today and not doing well. Your story makes me want to hang in there.
