I need help out!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ive become  dependent on pills AGAIN and desperately want to quit. Not new here, i joined Nov of 09 when i quit the pills for roughly 1 1/2 weeks, im mad at myself for giving in again and so quickly :( but i know i cant do it without keeping posted on here. The people on here are always so amazing and helpful! Im addicted to oxycontin (op) , vicodin and percocets. I take about 3 80mg op's a day and a couple of vicodins, percocets in between. I have 3 80's left , not buying anymore after this. Im so scared. I also have sum vicodins and percocets and am wondering if the withdrawals would be easier if i took them to kinda taper off from the oxy's? Or should i just go coldturkey on all pills from the start? Ive never been hooked on such a high dosage and am also wondering roughly how long it will take for the withdrawals to ease off a bit, to start feeling better? Im so afraid and worried but know i have to do what it takes to get the life i loved and used to have back. Been in this pill hell for about 5yrs and i literally cant take it anymore. I refuse to! God help me.

Dont be scared. Be happy. Your making the right choice. Taper if you can. If you cant then, you cant. Ive done both taper no taper. For me tapering made things much easier. You can do this youve done it before. I couple of weeks for the rest of your is the best deal going. You gotta be honest with yourself. Do you really want to quit. Really? Only you know the answer to that question. It took me a year to realize I didnt want to quit. I want to quit now. No doubt or second guesses. So, sounds like you want to. Were all here for you. IM comming up on my 30 days and life is really good. Im broke, live with my parents,in the middle of a divorce. Its ok. I can enjoy the sunshine,my daughter, food, exercise, laughing, and the list goes on and on. Go get your life back. Nothing to be scared about. 3 or 4 icky days and things get much better. Do it.

Hi and welcome back. Sorry to hear of the relapse. Dont beat yourself up. It happens. Its great you came back and are reaching out for help. Thats a huge step. Congrats for your choice to take your life back. Its not easy but VERY doable. And you WILL NOT regret it. My opinion is to jump off everything cold turkey. Taking the vic and perc will only draw out your detox. Look at the Thomas recipe and the amnio protocol on the right of your screen. All those goodies will help ease the withdrawls. Now the big and most important question. What are you going to do to STAY clean? NA meetings? 1 on 1 therapy? I do both and they are CRUCIAL in keeping your sobriety. Its almost impossible to stay clean without outside support. We need to relearn how to cope and just live day to day without using. You CAN do this and we are here to help and support get clean and maintain a sober life. Keep posting and keep fighting. I have faith in you and you can do this. Are you ready my friend?
