I need help
My new doctor decided to just not refill my pain meds and anxiety meds although I have been taking 1 for 5 years and one for 14 years (both narcotics). After a tantrum by myself and my husband I got another refill. But this might be the last refill. I'm trying to taper off. My first question is... Has anyone suffered from severe headaches. sammi
HW did not give me a schedule. I did not even know that he was going to cut them until they never showed up at the pharmacy. I He did raise my cymbalta for depression from 1 to 2 60mg. I also take bupropian twice a day for depressin. dicyclomine 20 for stomach, atenolol for blood pressure, carb/Levadoppa for restless leg meclizine for dizziness. And then an antacid. My headache will not let me continue tonight, but I will check back in the morning. Thank you for your concern.
Yes headaches are a common withdrawal symptom of opiates.
How long ago did you start the taper?
Did the doctor give you a taper schedule for the klonopin?
That is the most dangerous to abruptly stop.

I don't know where my reply went. Yes he gave me one more refill of each. I take 1mg twice a day of klonopin. 5-6 pain meds down to 3. But suffering horrible migraine since lowering hydrocodone. And I need to ween myself off completely.

This med needs to be tapered, it should be a long, slow taper.

Klonopin for anxiety and hydrocodone for arthritis and fibermyalgia. I called in 3 refills on Saturday the 9th. Not an early refill. I take several meds and there all auto refill for 3 months except the three the other one being cyclobenzaprene. They only filled 1 on the following Monday. When I finally talked to a nurse on Tues afternoon she said the doctor was not refilling but going with pain management and the doctor left no other explanation. But not knowing weather I'll get another refill I want to ween myself self off regardless.
