Get some benedryl, nyquil or other OTC sleep aid they really do help. Take a hot bath before bed and get a heated matress pad they are great.  You can also drink some chamomile tea before bed also.  Theraflu is what helped me the most but everyone is differnet.  Get something so you don't get frustrated and go back to the drugs.  It is amazing how well some of the OTC meds can help and I am always surprised that people don't get them when we are so willing to pop any other pill that gets us high but we have trouble taking them to get well.  Hang in there

Hey dude....well the sleep thing su##s but its the facts of life when withdrawing...it takes a wile at leat for me...most narcotics sleep returns within about 2 weeks or so...this methadone has been a different story...its very cyclic...I will go a few nights with 6 hr of sleep then bam...no sleep again...then sometimes just 3hr or so ...I dont know when this is going to end im 81days into it and this week has been a ruff one for sleep again
my drug consolor says this is normal for methadone but I just wish I could get a solid
8 hr of sleep...the best im doing is 6 and thats only sporadic ....but you have done methadone withdrawals so you no the drill ...hopefully your withdrawal symptoms
will subside quickly ...they should if all your getting is the no sleep thing...good luck and god bless...Gnarly
