I want off vicoprofen 7.5

Question

I've been taking some kind of pain meds for several years to to a degenerative   Arthritis currently taking Vicoprofen 7.5
I just want off, i took a whole one last thursday i had been taking 
4 to 5 a day but as of thursday i got down to 4 pills and can't get refill for a while so i cut them in half and had been taking when i really felt bad. Now i am out so wow it is taking it's toll i mean i just feel bad in my body. I've been walking when the weather permitts i make myself move.
 Now what can i do to be free of the withdrawls the feeling bad.
I do take Soma  240 ml i do not want to take more drugs i just want to be free again of all drugs
can you please tell me what can i do.

I went back on them only 2 a day i felt to bad but my plan is to get down to one a day then 1/2 a day but i must stop they are killing me i got a script of 90 but i put up 55 i will try and make these last me two month i cut 15 in 1/2 i have promised myself i will stop all this and blood preasure meds too. i will loose weight eat health as well

I was addicted to these and i cant begin to tell you how great you will feel once you are thru with them.  I went ct off 18 of them a day so i cant really help you with the taper plan.  Keep yourself busy and exercise even if it is just walking.  Drink plenty of fluids and check out the amino acids or the Thomas Recipe in the health pages.  You can pm me anytime.......You can do this and get your life back.       sara

Hang in there!  Sounds like you are starting wd's and you are pobably going to feel bad for the next few days.  From other posts I have read, days 3 and 4 seem to be the worst but after that it gets better.  I am currently tapering off hydro's 10/500's.  I am taking 5 per day and hope to cut it back to 4 pills today.  I give you a lot of credit for being "pill free" and I look forward to that day soon!
