IS Chronic Diarhea symptom for vicoden

A friend of mine has been taking this drug for thirteen years. He keeps  claiming that he is getting off of it,but I truly doubt it. He suffers from chronic nausea and diarrhea, are these usual symptoms? I desperately want to help my friend but he keeps saying he can do it himself. Trouble is, it has been two years and he is still on it.What can I fo?

Opiates usually make you constipated, the diarrhea may be from another drug however?  Unless he has some kind of GI problem (like irritable bowel disease).  If he uses then runs out for a while, the diarrhea will set in...maybe that's whats happening.  I'd suggest the immodium if that's whats going on.  If it isn't, tell him to get checked by a doctor-if he has IBD don't know if immodium is the best thing for him.

OHHHHHHHH, you meant while taking Vicodin..got cha, well in that case, I really don't know.  I do know that my perks make me very constipated.  He could still try the Immodium though.

i am an addict to oxycodone and am currently still taking them for a back injury.  diarrhea is def a major symptom of withdrawal as well as nausea.  the only thing you can really do for it is drink plenty of water and take Immodium.  I would check out the health pages at the top left corner and look at the Thomas Recipe, i heard it works pretty good for detoxing.  The main thing you can do for him though, is support him %100, believe me he needs it.
