can too many loratabs cause low immune problems

Hi, I am a addict to pain pills. About 8 years ago I broke my pelvic bone in 5 places. About 3 years ago it started bothering me and I took loratab 10s for the pain. I guess to be honest I started to enjoy the high and my tolerance for them went up. I could take 10 a day when I had them. So I went to Suboxen clinic. Did real well until I got with this guy with that didn't like it so I made myself stop. Did real good and then I developed a abscessed wisdom tooth and used again. My question is can they make your immune low? I have been sick every month almost with a fever and it lasts for a month! About three months ago, my lymph node on back/side of my neck became swollen and swolle for 3 months. I'm always tired and real sick it seems like. Everyone thinks im faking cause im always sick!! Also I got recurrent yeast infections. Has this happened to anyone else??

Thank you for quick replies. I am actually back on the suboxen. Wish I'd never started back! And I can have meds and im still sick! They tested me for mono. It was negative. I'm so tired of being sick. I will have low grade fevers all the time!! And I know it's not the withdrawals although they will do it also. It doesn't seem that im doing anything different than I did before the abuse. Maybe I am I just don't realize it yet. Maybe I should start taking some good vitamins to boost my immune back up? And hope all is going well with everyone else's addiction. God bless!

It probably wouldn't hurt to see a doctor.    They can test you for mono and give you an answer in a few hours.   My daughter had it when she was in high school, and my husband also had it, at a separate time.   I've never had it but they were both sick for quite awhile.  Also, infected teeth can pull you down too.  If you have taken antibiotics for any reason, that can cause you to develop a yeast infection, as you probably already know.

Bkitty and Kyle make a good point.   When you are using, you aren't focusing on good health.   It drains your body in so many ways.

Good luck with getting clean, if you are still using and if you have quit, congratulations and keep up the good work.

Yes! The first time I ever detoxed I ended up with mono. The last time I detoxed 300 days ago I ended up with mono again. I am still fighting it. I also smoke and that doesnt help either. My doctor said this was caused from all the stress of detox,,etc. Detox is hard on your body. Its very important to take care of yourself from head to toe. and rest. Hope you feel better (((hugs)))~Bkitty

I can't really say for sure one way or another, however I treated my body like crap when I was using and thus found that I was sick a lot. I ate crap, didn't exercise, and just focused on he meds, not my health.
