I know 6 months seems like a like time, but its really not compared to so many that get addicted to opiates.  At least you remember what its like to be sober and pill free, you will be ok.

Vic probably tore your stomach up because its mixed with tylenol which is hard on the stomach lining.

The worst will be over by the end of the 3rd day, the 4th day and every day after you will feel better and better.  Usually the last to come around is sleep and the mental side of it all.  If the withdrawal is real bad then the mental part will actually be a LOT better by the 4th day because you will just be so happy the pain is gone.  That happened to me during tramadol withdrawal and that is one of the worst withdrawals from a pain pill.

Hi Daniel. You might feel sick for a few days, but stay strong. I disagree about going after methadone.  You can quit the Vicodin a lot easier.
Do all of the stuff Vic recommends.  Prepare to be sick. But know after a week or so, each day will be easier.  Then you'll be feeling so much better in the long run.   We are here for your support.   Pamela

Hi..Well the good news is that you were on a low dose and for such a short time. You will be just fine in TIME! You already have put in over 40 hours by now.
The Stomach issue is a very common thing when we get off Meds. We have Opiate Receptors all over and also in the Stomach area..This will take some time to clean out..Right now drink lots of fluids. If you can not eat try some Protein Drinks or get the Powder and make your own Mix up with Berries or Bananas and so forth.
Most people on here pick up the Imodium. Takes some Baths with Epsom salt because it has Magnesium in it and helps draw out the poisons.
Keep checking your post or reply in it if you are having other issues.
Very proud of you to catch this before it got to out of control.
Bless

Hey man, I take methadone for neuropathy in my feet. One time a year or so ago, I took to many and ran out before my script could be renewed. I thought I was going to die. It was horrific, the pain and mental anguish were just unexplainable. If you can taper off a little at a time that would be ideal. Also drink tons of water and stretch your body out. Suboxone is a drug that is used in opioid withdrawal, you could look on the net and see who the doctors are in your area that use suboxone to treat opioid withdrawal. Good luck bro.
