Is L Tyrosine for energy???

Hi everyone!  I am at 21 days today and still struggle with my energy level. I started exercising a little and getting out for like one excursion per day. I just don't know what to do about energy!!  I can't drink coffee because my anxiety is super high and that makes it worse. So basically I am at a loss. I know there is probably no magic supplement that will help me feel more "recovered", but it doesn't hurt to ask. Thanks to everyone here!  I don't post much but read everyday. Xoxo

You can get too much seratonin...Seratonin Syndrome.  I don't think I had it full-blown, but I had rapid heart rate, headache, diarrhea, sweats, shakes, rls.  It took me awhile to figure out what was going on.  This also happens when I drink too many protein shakes as well.  I would recommend staying away from the l-tyrosine and hooking yourself up with B12 sublingual tablets. Keep your vitamins going as well as exercise.
Hope this helps!

Thank you so much for the reply!  I am on an anti-depressant. What can happen if you take the l tyrosine and the anti-depressant?

Hey there and congrats to you on 21 days!!!!  Awesomeness!  Many folks have had great luck with l-tyrosine for energy as well a b12. However, if you are on an anti-depressant you are cautioned not to take the l-tyrosine as you can produce too much serotonin and end up with some issues (I have personally done this).  Great that you are reaching out for more natural ways to boost your energy.  Yes, exercise is also a good idea to boost your natural endorphins as well.  Keep trying and moving forward!  You are doing a great job!
