Is it normal to be losing weight after detoxing from methadone?

Is it normal to be losing weight after detoxing from methadone? While on methadone I was a fit 5'3 115 &  over the past month I,ve lost almost 15 pounds, which is ok, but I really dont want to lose any more weight, & I do eat but not like I did on methadone, any recomondations & is this normal? Penelope

I gained 25 pounds while on and now being off everything and still eating almost the same have lost the 25 pounds back.  I think it happens to a lot of people just make sure that you are still getting the essential vitamins your body needs.

Yes, I put on weight the 1st time I used the methadone.. Alot of people do.. Ther are a few that do not put on weight. I would eat alot of sweets.. I did not gain any this time...
As long as you are eating you meals, you should be fine.. I think you are just taking off what you had put on...

yes it absolutely is..methadone actually makes the average person put on weight, just the nature of it and now that your off..your body will lose some . How long has it been now?? I am sooooo happy for you..Are you still having trouble eating?
