Is it possible not to suffer Opiate wds?

When I was young about 9, I had a Mekils Diverticulitis (2 tumors in my small intestine 1size of alemon, 2nd size of an orange) . 22 feet of my small intestine had to be removed. Fast forward till I was 21 Had work accident lost 2 fingers. Doctor sent me how with ascript for hyrocodone 10 and following visit same. I felt ill just from taking them. For following years .I thought Im allergic to opiates , So refused them.Shoulder surgery ankle surgery. Only used Ibuprofen for pain.
Fast forward 1/1/13 my life would change forever. I fell Herniated  c5-c7  Tore my shoulder in 8 places. Its was absolute agony. They tried every known non opiode  pain medication Gababentin lyrica and on and on(I get nasty side effects from them.. Nothing would stop the pain. Doctor said lets try Opiates with zofran . Worked a little no feeling ill. !st surgery to repair my shoulder was success sent home with Percocet 10s. A month later first neck surgery. Anterior cervical fusion. OMG was I in pain. Doctor gave me extended release morphine and percocet 10s. 8 months of agony Oxycodone 30s 3 times day 100mg ER Morphine 3 times day.. Doctors could not get my pain under control. Sent for MRI turns out Im suffer from Psuedoartrosis( Neck being pulled forward).
After 8 months of agony Doctor did posterior surgical fusion (They cut through your muscle in back and crucify on your belly) Doctor added Rods and screws in back to pull back in Alignment.
The pain was unbearable Doctor tried every thing from hydrocodne -Fentanyl finally NO relief
The most pain medication at one time was 6 oxycodone 30 1000mg of Morphine ER. No relief at all. A year and a half to the day. Im a dad of 4 and my wife stayed with me, I couldnt even walk anymore and was going to be put in a wheel chair. No one could figure out why my pain was getting worse( They said oh hes an addict ) going through my months meds in 10 days. I had enough I wrote my wife a letter. Im sorry Im such a burden. I took every single pIll I had Pain meds Psych meds about 300 pills. I wrote note on my phone put the empty pill bottles away. Laid down hoping ot never wake up again.
Well I also have a benign brain tumor and sometimes sleep for extended periods. At about 4 pm next afternoon Woke up heaving blood my wife called ambulance week in the psych ward.
Also I had 169 ER visit before this day. When they released me from hospital. IM like omg IM a dad and husband . But with saying I was in agony. I need to find out whats wrong with me.
The best way I can describe it is someine grabbing your pressure point in your neck never letting go,

This part is super important, I met a pain management doctor he ran a test called Pharmocogenomics . Its a dna and gene test to tell you how you body metabolism medicine. Also what would work best. Finally some real answer he tells me your body Doesnt   metabolize Every single opiate except Oxymorphone aka OPana..Omg pain relief. Now im detemined to find out why am I in so much pain after 2 1/2 years of agony, Turns out right where the 7th screw wasnt placed properly and damaged nerves . Right where the pain radiated from. Some answers. My body started to relax and heal at this point 40mg OpanaER and 3xday IR. fast forward to today 5 years since. Im not 100% better 75% and pain averages a 4. Still on Opiates 40mg ER 2x day. .Well wen to Las Vegas to visit family forgot my pain meds. Was a rough 4 days pain wise. But no physical symptoms. I should be really going through Withdrawal. Nothing except really bad anxiety. I get my meds IM ok.
1st question Is having removed 22feet of my intestine , have something to do with  it?
2nd  Is it possible there something in my bodys chemistry ?
Is there a test for this, That could help people have same reaction?
Lastly That Pharmacogenomics testing can be used for any meds. Why be a guinea pig ,when they could tell you right away. what meds will work. It saved my life. Ask your doctor its not expensive and stops the trial and error. Im an advocate and try to help anyone dealing with chronic pain. I went through hell but made it back and IM 1000% better. I would gladly like to find out why No WDS. Not for just me for every person who is addicted to pain medication. If theres something that could help in my bodys genes.

If i read this right you have never really been off pain meds for years right?  You did experience anxiety when you left your meds at home and you stated then you were fine when you had them.  Anxiety is a symptom of wd.  I would bet you will feel wd if you are to ever step away from the meds.  Many times those pills turn on you and your pain will seem worse.

some times taking pain meds can cause pain....you need to be off all pain meds for at least 2 yrs...you will feel pain, but in time your body will deal with it and heal its self...pain meds are sneaky...they make you think it will take pain away...but it don't...
