Is soma addictive?

I just had a hysterectomy march 24, 2009 and still recovering. I am still in a lot of pain. I went to my post-op appointment today and I am not recovering like I am supossed to (with three daughters it's hard) but I do rest while they are all in school. I am doing things I am not supposed to be doing so my doctor put me on bed rest for the next 2 weeks.
I am already on prozac (depression), Lunesta (insomnia), klonopine (anxiety & sezuires)and Hormone pills. for the last 2 months I have been switched back and forth from percocet and lortab 10/650. Today she gave me sixty lortab 10/600, klonopinine, and soma 350 every 8 hours. This is a lot of medication for me and when I take it, it makes me loopy and I feel like I am on cloud 9. The isssue is I have 3 kids to take care of, when they are in scholl it's no problem. My husband does all he can cause he had 2 back surgeries so he hurts too.

Is Soma really addictive? I no nothing about this medication so I need to know.

Klonopin, Lortab and Soma are all very addictive. I take Topamax for my seizures/anxiety and it works well but in the they say that Klonopin should really be used in short term or in conuntion with another seizure medicine. Maybe you should look into that. It's always good to minimize whatever additive drugs you can. Soma is more like a muscle relaxer and given out alot for back pain or muscle pains. If you are taking the Lortab you might not need to take the soma. Maybe you can alternate. Please be careful all three like I said are very addictive. I only know from past experience and I am a nurse (as well as seeing it first hand from tons of patients). Best of luck. Get well soon :)
