IM ON DAY 23 AND HAD A DREAM THAT REALLY FREAKED ME OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE HELP

im on day 23 off percs, and last night i had a dream itwas my wedding day, and i was getting ready to walk down the isle and there where a bunch of doctors blocking me saying your not getting married till youtake the script, you need the percocets, you know you need them, you want them, where not letting you bye till youtake the script, and they where clossing in on me. i woke up just as i was going to take thescript. this dream really hasme freaked out. really really freaked out. why did i have this dream?

I have had several "pill dreams" since I have gone clean and they really bother me too.  I go to doctors and they give me huge scripts and then I wake up and am so upset that it was just a dream.  That usually sets my day off poorly, but as the day goes on it gets better.  I know that dreams like that are really common.  Think about it, what is on your mind a lot of the time? Pills, even if it's not craving them, they are probably in the back of your mind somewhere and that's what dreams are, all about the subconscious.  Just know you will have more dreams like that, but it's just a dream and can't hurt you, right?  Congratulations on your impending wedding, you'll do great!

i know it was a dream, but it really scared me. i have never been scared by a dream before(besides when i was little.lol)

Alot of people have dreams like that. I think its your mind playing tricks on you! Just stay strong and remember its only a dream.

Most of us have dreams like that.  I dreamt i was holding up a Walgreens Pharmacy one night.  This is normal to dream.  Get yourself busy and shake it off.  They are very disturbing but only a dream.    stay strong            sara
