Hello All. I haven't been around since I think August. I decided to log in tonight and it was pretty cool to see some familiar names even if I don't really know you (Jifmoc, VICourageous, Motye51 to name just a few). Even though I've been away from the site I haven't taken my sobriety for granted. My phone security code is 031313 which is my sobriety date so by punching that code in there is not a day that I don't think about the nightmare life I was living before that date. I can see by scanning some posts there are people out there who were just like me when I was using a sheet load of oxy-cotton. I was lost, I was hopeless, I couldn't stop even though I wanted to. Everyone one of us will stop at one time or the other. Don't make death your reason for stopping. Don't make losing your husband or wife your reason for stopping. Don't make losing your job and you future your reason for stopping. The next 10 days are going to come and go whether you detox or not so start that process tonight. Make no mistake detoxing blows but by the time the next ten days passes you can either be well over the detox process or you can still be making excuses why you haven't stopped yet. If you have children the best Christmas present you can give your kids is a drug free mom or dad. God bless everyone.

Hey dude  good to see you great to see you clean.....im always happy to  see someone post after being gone a wile  I often wounder if there still clean or back in the jaws of it again...we always hope for the best but all to often it is not that way  when I got clean I relapsed over and over again it wasent till I hit the rooms of N/a that I could get past 6mo clean this is a progressive disease that only gets worst with time  today im grateful to have a bit over 5yrs clean I give all the credit to Jesus my higher power he has not only kept me alive he has delivered me to a amazing life full of joy and love so if a hope to die dope fiend like me can do it  any body can so keep pushing forward work a program and this can be your last detox to  many blessing to you Bro......Gnarly
