Lyrica is probably my last option.  I suffer from nerve pain which is difficult because there really isn't much.  Can you tell me what problems you had with it.  Thanks.

Soma is bad news don't mess with it.  Trust me.  I was the soma queen.  It can be a very wicked drug.  It worked great for my muscle pain, but it can come back an addict in the butt......hard.  If you decide to use it.  Use Caution!

Soma(Carisopridol) is a muscle relaxant.  It was told to us that it is not addictive, but as many have found out, if you abuse alomst anything IT CAN BE ADDICTIVE!  So be careful with it..

It can be used for many different symptoms, but what we have it for is to help with tension headaches and pains.  It has helped ALOT, but we never take more than the bottle says to take, and sometimes dont even take it that many timer per day.. I would say ONLY USE IT WHEN YOU TRULY NEED TO!

I have very advanced arthritis and I am taking Nortriptyline in small (50mg) doses and Relefan. Robaxan (Muscle relaxant) also. These 3 together provide pretty good pain relief. Not 100% totally pain free, but managable. Please ask your Doctor about them. These 3 in tandem are a wonderful alternative to opiates.

It is a muscle relaxer. the doc's say it is not addictive...but I personally believe it is. It will NOT help with arthritis.
