Klonopin for detox?

Has anyone been put on klonopin for detox - if so, what strengths, for how many days, until you were off of it for detox?

Klonopin will help you the first few days of your detox. It will calm you,help with your legs, and help with sleep. You can try .5mg 2X a day for day 1, Then .5mg Day 2 and 3.
It would not be wise to take more mg's or take it for a longer period of time.

I have been taking clonidine for withdrawals & anxiety & it does help, not my drug of choice, which may be a benifet, I only use it in the evenings when Im at my worst, 1pill only & I believe its 0.5, it takes the edge off & offers me to sleep, but I dont plan on taking it to much longer, maybe a few more days? I was given klonopin for years fopr anxiety 0.5 in the am and 0.5 in the pm when I went to a dr for pill addiction he took me off that and put me on the suboxone and gave me trazadone to help with sleep. I know alot of people take clonodine, just not sure about klonopin
